Springtime Stitch Along Is On It;s Way

Hello to all stitchers, quilters, friends of Chickadee Hollow Designs!
We are having lots of fun with our Springtime Stitch Along. This is a start anytime program and features simple hand embroideries that are bordered with 1930's fabrics or if you have some cute spring fabrics. Either way it is fun and beautiful at the same time. Here are some snapshots of the blocks we have done so far.The blocks finish at 8 1/2" inches and we do one a week for 52 weeks.

The Bag Ladies of the Fat Quarter Club went to Paducah for the upcoming quilt show. This isn't the best picture, husband was holding it, would have hung straighter on a rod, but you get the idea. I had so much fun making this quilt. The patterns are available at www.chickadeehollowdesigns.com. You can also do it as a BOM. We have it set up that way also. Happy Easter Everybody!! It's a great day today, isn't it? New Items Added to Website

We have a couple new items that have just been added to the website today. The first one is the Happy Easter Bunny. You can find it under the Category Hand Embroidery. Be sure to click on the thumb nail and the picture will enlarge so you can see the details in the designs,

There is still time to do a few Valentines for your sweetheart, we have a few of those left in stock. Find them under Category Vintage Valentines.

The second item is our Bag Lady #11 Thelma, you will find this item under the Bag Ladies Of The Fat Quarter Club. There is only one more Bag Lady to be released, and that will be toward the end of the month.

It's Not Too Soon To Be Thinking About Easter!!

Hi everybody, it's been awhile. How y'all been??

We are in the middle of winter here in Minnesota

 and we have really had a nice mild winter so far, 

one week of really cold but other then that,

 the temps have been above zero.

 For Minnesota, that is good! We will take it!

Been working on some new ideas for Easter and

 spring and decided to share one with you.

 This one hasn't been stitched yet, but will be as soon

 as I pick out the colors of floss I will use.

 Do most of you use DMC floss? That seems to be

 the one that is most widely available. Was thinking

 of doing this one in the over dyed floss from Gentle Art. 

I would like to hear your opinions of what you like best.
