*W*I*N*T*E*R* REDWORK

It won't be long and the wrath of winter will be upon us. While winter can be truly grueling, I try to celebrate it with lots of cute reminders of the fun things about winter, and then it doesn't seen so bad. The design I am sharing today is done in the old fashioned style of redwork, and is embellishment with red items. I think it is fun and it is part of a seasons series of Redwork embroideries. All four of them together would make a darling wallhanging and also would make cute pillows. I will share a picture of how I decide to finish it off when I get that done.
Keep watching our website at www.chickadeehollowdesigns.com for a lot of new buttons we have just had shipped in. The other thing we have in stock is white flannel; this works just great behind embroideries like these, sepecially if you want to make it into an item that would ordinarily have a layer of batting in it. I still prefer to use the Warm-N-Natural behind all the ornaments, because it gives it a little extra body.
Another thing I wanted to mention is some candles I purchased from Autumn Comforts website is some wonderfully scented Cinnamon Bun Candles. Jodi Farm who owns Autumn Comforts has a website and is also on ETSY. These candles are wonderfully scented and smell exactly like you are making cinnamon rolls. The aroma will fill your house with a wonderful scent even if the candles aren't lit. I really like them

Hop on over to her site, you will go away feeling warm and cozy.! Autumn ComfortsThats all for today!

Happy Stitching! Carol
